Refund Policy

What happens if you cancel, if a part has already been ordered, or if you are not satisfied with the work — for work booked at hitechcarcare.com or in person.

Last updated 4 August 2026

The principle

You approve the work line by line before it starts, and anything found mid-repair comes back to you for approval. That is deliberate: it means you should never be billed for work you did not ask for. If we have charged you for something you did not approve, we will put it right.

Cancelling a booking

A booking request costs nothing and can be cancelled by calling us on +91 98410 54174. There is no charge for cancelling a slot before the car is brought in.

Work already carried out

Labour that has been performed and parts that have been fitted are chargeable. Where you stop a job partway through, you are charged for the work done up to that point, itemised on your invoice.

Parts ordered specially

Some parts are ordered in specifically for your vehicle and cannot be returned to the supplier. Where that applies, we will tell you before ordering, and the terms for any advance payment are agreed with you at that point.

If you are not satisfied

Tell us as soon as you notice the problem, and bring the car back to us. We will inspect it and, where the fault is with work we carried out, rectify it. Please keep your invoice — it lists every part replaced against your registration number, which is what lets us trace what was done.

Where a refund is due rather than a rectification, it is made by the same method you paid by.

What this policy does not cover

  • Wear to parts that were already worn when the car came in, and that you declined to replace.
  • Faults arising from work carried out elsewhere, or from parts you supplied.
  • Damage caused by continued driving after a fault was pointed out to you.

Raising it with us

Call +91 98410 54174, or come into the workshop at 96, Vellalar Street, Kodambakkam. We would rather hear about a problem directly and fix it than have you leave unhappy.
